NASA’s New Supersonic Jet X-5
NASA has partnered with Lockheed Martin to make a new supersonic jet that produces a thumping sound when breaking the sound barrier instead of a boom. I chose this article for the ethical concerns this jet addresses, making safe high-speed travel above people and the environment. This is a great idea that needs lots of more testing and has been needed for many years. People and animals around the planet will benefit significantly from this technology.
